Two weekends ago I threw my cousin a jungle themed baby shower attended by friends and family:

Partially set up food table

Gifts, including a stroller

The ice cream cake I made

Mommy-to-be and her best friend Britnie

And of course the diaper cake I made

Eli David is due July 26th!

I'm waiting and fading and floating away

Nothing compares to a sunrise after pulling an all nighter.

We can't be lovers, and we can't be friends

When will I stop missing you?

And when will I take their advice about how toxic the other one is?

Countdown to the return to my life? One week. It's such a sincere relief.

And don't think that I'm pushing you away, cause you're the one that I've kept closest

Today I did something I almost never do: I went with Kecia and got a manicure. I know. Shocking.

My best friend came to visit me a week ago =D

We hung out in Tacoma

took adorable pictures together

visited Seattle

and made Mojitos!

There was of course lots of gossip and girl time. It was much needed and not nearly long enough of a visit.
